DSA Featured in The Big Issue
We’re thrilled to share that Drummond Street Artists has been featured in The Big Issue! The article highlights the heart of what we do — creating space for people who’ve experienced homelessness or social exclusion to express themselves through art and rebuild their confidence through creativity.
Founded by Geraldine Crimmins in early 2023, DSA has grown into a vibrant collective based at the Old Diorama Arts Centre. With up to 17 artists attending each week, our sessions offer not just materials and mentoring, but a supportive community.
The piece covers our first public exhibition and shares powerful stories of personal transformation. We’re so proud of our artists and grateful to The Big Issue for helping to amplify their voices.
